Drive from the harbor to wooded hills in a 3D train driving simulator with six original duties. Carry passengers, haul loaded timber wagons and return downhill through sunset or rain. Use power, coasting and brakes to follow speed limits, wait at red signals and stop beside each platform marker. Cab and chase cameras show the same railway and its freight branch. Complete every scheduled stop to unlock the next duty. Optional medals reward precise stops, a smooth ride and the target schedule; arriving late alone does not end a duty. Complete all six to open free driving without station calls or medal targets.

How to play

Drag up/down and hold / W/S or arrow keys

Choose a duty and press Depart. Drag upward in the scene and hold for power, downward for brakes, then release to coast. Keyboard players can hold W or Up for power and S, Down or Space to brake.

Watch the next-stop distance and speed limit. Brake before red signals and wait for green. Stop within 9 meters of each platform marker and wait for boarding or loading to finish.

Serve every listed stop to complete the duty and unlock the next. Tap the scene for the horn, use the camera control or C to switch views, and pause with the pause control or Escape.

Tips

Release power before reaching the speed limit. The train keeps rolling when you coast, and downhill stretches need earlier braking.

Loaded freight and wet rails lengthen stopping distance. Approach the marker slowly and hold the brake until the doors open or loading begins.

A completed duty counts even with no medals. Replay it for stopping accuracy, smooth driving or the optional schedule target.

Can I play this train simulator online without a download?

Yes. Mossline runs inside the page in a browser with WebGL enabled. It is free and needs no account or app. Touch and mouse players drag directly in the scene; keyboard controls are also available.

Is there a time limit?

Each duty has an optional schedule medal. Arriving late does not fail the duty. Passing a required stop or red signal, staying far above the speed limit, or reaching the buffers too quickly can end an attempt.

Does Mossline save my progress?

Completed duties, unlocked duties and best medal records are saved in this browser when storage is available. An unfinished drive starts over after reloading. Clearing site data removes the save.

How do I unlock free driving?

Complete all six duties; medals are optional. Free driving offers the harbor-to-ridge line, the return trip in rain and the timber freight branch. There are no required station calls or medals, but speed limits still apply and you must stop safely at the end of the line.
