Lantern Delver
Play a turn-based browser roguelike. Move your lantern, read enemy attacks and choose upgrades through six dungeon encounters. Free, with no download or timer.
Choose Warden or Strider and clear a six-room tactical dungeon. Every action advances the enemies' marked moves; inspect the damage and positioning before confirming. Move a lantern to open shadow armor, shove enemies or slide into position, then build around three permanent upgrades. Two route choices show their enemies and future upgrade offers before you commit. Defeat the Bellkeeper and the Kiln Ram to finish the expedition. Death ends the run. Retry the same dungeon with a fresh kit, or generate another layout. An unfinished expedition saves in this browser when storage is available.

How to play
Tap a tile, then Confirm / keyboard
Choose a kit. Tap a floor tile or enemy, read the selected action's damage and enemy response, then press Confirm. Enemies act only after you do.
Use Lantern to move the light. Its 3 × 3 area opens shadow armor. Warden can Shove and advance; Strider can Slide two cells and strike from shadow into light for extra damage.
Clear a room to recover up to 2 HP. Choose upgrades after rooms 1, 3 and 5. Each route card shows its enemies and the upgrade choices you will receive later.
Defeat both bosses and clear all six rooms to win. Your potion heals up to 4 HP. Death ends the expedition; Retry same dungeon keeps its seed while resetting health, equipment and enemies.
Tips
Attack markings stay on their committed tiles. Moving, pushing an attacker or defeating it can change the damage shown in your action preview.
Inspect enemies to read their next actions. A fixed hex still lands on its marked cell after the caster is shoved.
Build around your choices. Long haft can soften an approaching enemy before a Shove; Night blade rewards fighting in shadow.
What kind of browser roguelike is Lantern Delver?
It is a single-player, turn-based tactical dungeon game on a 6 × 6 board, rendered in 3D. Each expedition has six encounters, two route choices, three upgrades and one life. New expeditions generate another layout; same-dungeon retries keep the seed.
Does the dungeon keep moving while I think?
No. Enemies act after you confirm a legal action. Inspecting, selecting a tile and reading your upgrades do not use a turn. There is no timer.
Can I resume an unfinished expedition?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Continue restores the dungeon, health, enemies, route choices and upgrades. Clearing site data removes that save. After death, you start a new expedition rather than continuing the defeated one.
